ROSE
What a beauty is she, from her bud to full bloom,
The petals unfolding are as soft as a plume.
The richest, deep scarlet stuns and mesmerizes.
Gazing at her glory, beauty energizes.
What a beauty is she, deep in her redeemed heart.
Her eyes invite you in, with her, to be a part.
The life of Jesus glows, shines in her countenance,
Like Jesus, fills you with life-giving sustenance.
“Rose”, a beautied flower. “Rose”, a beautied woman.
“Rose” is also a verb. Out of death rose a man!
The life of Jesus glows, sprang up on Easter’s dawn.
The life of Jesus rose, to His beauty I am drawn.
