The loss of meaning is palpable in our culture and in people. Whatever we place our highest hopes on to make life meaningful, other than God, will eventually disappoint us, and if we persist in pinning our hopes on someone and something that is not God, we can get to a place where we are despondent, lifeless, worthless and empty. How does that happen?
