We Are a Ministry Community

All too often you could summarize the real purposes of our lives in three ways. (1) Health, (2) “Me and my family,” and (3) “the good life” (convenience and comfort). Serving the Lord often gets dropped down into the realm of “when convenient.” Do we not think of serving as a way of life, the way of Jesus. Serving like Jesus shows up in our attitude, volunteering, and in our calendar.  What do we not understand about serving that allows us to be slovenly regarding serving?  We don’t understand that serving is formed into our identity, is our calling, and our truest purpose.
