James 5:7-8
“Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.”
During a difficult season I think one of the hardest things to do is to be patient. Yet that is what the Bible tells us to do! Be patient and wait to see what the Lord has in store. As believers in Jesus Christ, we have hope for his return and to live in heaven for eternity. In this life, though, we will have relationships and situations that are effected by sin. In those moments of doubt, struggle and hardship, the Bible calls us to look heavenward, be patient like a farmer and stand firm in our faith. These are the times when we can draw near to God and have faith that his purpose and plan is greater than our own.
Cheering you on and praying for patience.
