How am I going to research the issues so that I can make decisions that make my vote really count to me and hopefully to the country? It seems that the election is coming and I am not any more educated on the candidates now than a few months ago. Yes, there are people that speak for or against and give their opinions; those don’t give me much hope.
I have decided to read the book that Mr. Trump has written about his general policy views. This is before he gets all the nitty gritty that they really need to make decisions once in office. Yet I do believe that I have a much better understanding on where he stands on many issues that interest me and the future of our country.
Also I have found a book that Mr. Clinton has written and I will continue to look for something that is equal to learning about the issues that Hillary Clinton proposes.
As a Christian I do want to know which candidate will be keeping Israel as a strong ally. After reading Mr. Trump’s book he states that he will keep Israel a strong ally. It does seem as though the current administration does not value the relationship much based on comparing our current relationship with Israel and how the two countries have stood together in the past.
All in all I am feeling more hopeful about voting and exercising my right to be an American and go to the polls to vote. I hope you all will be doing so as well in an informed manner. Try not to get too worn out by all the opinions out there and form your own based on facts.
Our children need good government, we oldies but goodies need good government and everyone else needs good government too;)
