Matthew 18:2 He called a little child and had him stand among them.
3 And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
4 Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
This year, I’ve noticed a more distinct fear rising in me before some of my meetings, but especially some of my appointments.
The “snake” that slithers in the door of my heart is something like, “Will I know what to say? Will I have good advice? There is a “strange” sense of mild dread, as if fear says, “Nope, you won’t have the goods.”
Matt. 18:4 has been my go-to verse to combat this fear. I simply offer myself to God to be available to be used however He sees fit.
