I got to be a part of the first group to go through our new church program called NorthStar and I have to say, I loved it! If you are a member of our church, I highly recommend that you consider going through this training the next time it comes around. I will admit, you will be stretched and forced to grow as a Christian, a person, and as a leader in this church. And man is it worth it. You will read through your entire Bible, you will have a great collection of books to begin your theology library and you will become a lot closer to the people who share the journey with you. We had homework to do (Sometimes a lot), group projects to work on and Giant experience training seminars that I would not trade for anything.

I experienced Gods word in new ways, I learned more about being a part of our community as well as my role in Gods story that started with creation and continues to shape the world we live in. It was a wonderful experience and I am glad that we are a part of a church that encourages us to get out of our comfort zone and to grow as both believers and as leaders.
