For the past 8 weeks or so, our small group has been entertained, bewildered, probed, challenged, moved to tears, frustrated, convicted, humbled and awed by Focus on the Family’s “The Truth Project”, a series of ‘tours’ or lectures on various aspects of Christian beliefs and understanding.
The DVD series is hosted by Dr. Del Tackett from Focus on the Family; each week, he explores a different topic and leads an investigatory tour into subjects such as “Who is Man?”, “Who is God?”and “Science” .
Sometimes we have to learn the hard way. It’s better to take your car to Jiffy Lube than change the oil yourself. Here are a few of my “experiences:” oil spill on driveway the size of the Alaskan tanker Valdez, forgot to put “plug” back in oil pan resulting in Valdez oil spill up the street, and realizing the last time I changed the oil was, gulp, THREE years ago!

Volunteers are needed to help set-up, clean-up, decorate, and serve food. Volunteers are also needed to help run games (this is a great area for your teenager to help out with). Please contact me by using the “Talk to Us” form on the left sidebar, or by calling the church office at 949-552-6774.
Donations are needed in the area of candy and any small prizes you may have such as unopened happy meal toys or pencils. Small items that the children would love to choose as a prize after playing one of the carnival games. These can be dropped off at the church anytime or you can e-mail me and I will gladly stop by and pick up any items you may have.
